In December 1963, Rodney Fox was a victim of great white shark attack, during a fishing tournament in Aldinga Beach, South of Adelaide. He was brought quickly to the hospital where he got 462 stitches. He returned to the sea three month later after the attack. Today, he is considered as the best specialist of the great white shark.
Rodney Fox, a film director and organizer of numerous expeditions, which are dedicated to the great white shark, was born in South of Australia on November 9, 1940. He is married with Kay and they have three children : Andrew, Lenore and Darren. From the three of them, only ANdrew is following his tracks to resume the torsh from his father to succeed this tremendous adventure.

Rodney and his wife have completely renewed an old fire
station and up-graded it to be "Shark Museum and Nautical Gift Shop"
called "Home of the Great White Shark". This museum contains details
of collections such as : anti-sharks cages used during the shooting of
"JAWS", or some other films made during the speditions, and also
fossil teeth of the famous Carcharodon Megalodon.
